  • December Winter Playlist 09


    Every month-ish i've been post the most played and special songs to me that month.  i started doing this because my tastes changed so frequently  and it would be fun to see how big those changes were. 

            

    Since i'll be moving the blog over to JamesWinslow.wordpress.com for the New Year, there will be three music playlists this month.  This is the second, already posted is last month's play list, and finally a special Christmas playlist on Christmas Eve.

  • Don't Worry, Be Silly!


    What's the big deal with grown-ups being so serious anyway!

    There are plenty of serious things in life to take seriously, but it doesn't mean that you have to miss out on the not so serious things.  Even the sick and hungry can find time to smile.




    Don't worry about a thing.  Big Papa is looking out.
    Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.{Peter 5:7}

    Life is simple.  Love God and have fun and you're done.

    Listen, to be as free and untethered to "the death in life" as a child at the park on a sunny day is a beautiful thing to be as an adult.  Forget being an old fart and have fun.  being responsible and straight face is only 30% of our live(by my own calculations) don't miss out on the less serious yet as important 70%.

  • pure hype


    To me, the Black eye peas are usually, simply garbage.  every now and then, though, (with a little cleaning up) they come out with a song that it is perfectly pure hype and i love it.
