  Love Lists

  
  i was watching this movie called The List.  It's on of those cliche, bad acting, awkward script kind of films, but the story is endearing.  In the move the main character, after having very publicly been  rejected in a marriage proposal, makes a list of attributes of his perfect partner and doesn't let any girl near his heart without meeting that standard.  
  
  

  His list:

  • must like hockey
  • and Thai food
  • be bilingual
    
  • has to sing on key
  • must be 100% real everywhere
  • and must love Marven Gaye

  
  After the movie i thought about how how so many people have these kinds of lists and put themselves into a corner in which they may not want to be.  i am completly pro standard but i'm not a big believer in this "love list".  Although i don't want to make a serious list for myself, i thought i'd try one out like in the movie just for fun.  Hear's what i came up with.
  
  

  • Has :
  • must have interest in politics, business, or law
  • and enjoy hard work
  • must have a passion
  • and be light hearted
  • has to have  good character
  • and strive to be Intelligent and polite
  • should want a humble life

  
  i can't help but wonder if my future wife has made a list, and if so i wonder if or how many things i meet anything on it.
