  • is it wrong to tell a truths that hurts? (RT)

Is it bad to call about the self centered?  Everything with them is so narcissistic; they can't see beyond their problems and it bothers me.  i can't stand it!

Is it hypocritical?  Because i'm self centered and part of the reason i get so upset at people like that is because they don't pay attention to me.

When i was depressed, my mind was consumed with the actuality of my imperfections.  It was a downward spiral that i was caught up in.  Every time i tried to "fix" myself i was reminded of how "unfixed" i really was.  Someone would tell me to get over myself and i would hate myself for putting them threw so much frustration that they had to yell at me.  i got worse, and soon became suicidal.

All of that is in the past now and i'm fine, yet still when i see someone completely wrapped up in their own life, in themselves, is it wrong to show them their skewed perspective?  As hard it to hear about an sexual abuse, i can't help but feel a worse pain for those out there that are being rapped by the ideas in their head.

Sometimes people need a wake up call.
I find that honesty is real eye-opener, however crucial it may be.
Sometimes people need to see what they've been casting around
no matter how nasty it is.
So no, It's not bad at all to show someone their dirty, twisted thoughts and perceptions.
