  • What "i" Am About

    Think about this.

i write my name in lower cased letters to project my nothingness compared to God.  i write God's name in capitalized letters to project His Greatness.  All this for the glory of God; to praise in His mercies towards us and gifts to us and love for us as well as life in us.

AS YOU READ, you may think i'm weird or crazy or even a mindless follower of some strange cult.  But the matter of the fact is that i am a Christian.  i have not been tricked, fooled nor am i unintelligent.  God is real, and He really is changing my life.  If you want to know God, you have to seek Him first, but lucky for us, He's not so far away.  All we have to do is close our eyes, and pray.

thanks for the recommend on my blog about my dad :)

you're right on target with this blog.  isn't He AMAZING!!! and i don't think you are weird or crazy...I feel ya! (that is said with the most southern NC accent you can imagine)  it's awesome and amazing and I feel so sad for people who don't know. i feel so sad it took me until the last 3 years to know.  my life would have been so much calmer and easier and peaceful long ago.  i am just so thankful he didn't give up on me...he came after me. :)  yayyy its cool seeing someone else feel that same way i do :)

@mellibella - I agree, it's the best feeling in the universe to be part of the best family witht the best father in the universe.  This may be three years belated but, welcome to the family.

Not so. I did pray...for years. The experiment failed. There was never an answer.

I don't want to hear excuses, such as "Oh, you probably weren't faithful enough." Or, "God has his reasons."

@In_Reason_I_Trust - Sounds like you've been burned.  i'm not sure there is any religious that i could say to help.  If you believe in karma, universal justice, or something of fairness in the world, you'll find that no positive action goes without it's benifits just like no negative action goes without it's consequences.  i'd encourage you to stop experimenting and just live your life as authically as you can.  An in doing so you'll have a journey of self discovery and in that a desire for God (some of which it sounds like you have already).  That is the greatest thing a person can do for thenself in my opinion.  sry for the long response.
